About Me

Do you feel like road trip planning is a lot of trial and error? Me too. As a father of two girls, I’ve tried to enrich their lives with memorable experiences that best suit our family’s needs. Planning the perfect trip can be quite a challenge, and that’s where Road Trip Tales comes in handy.

Why I Started This Blog

I created this blog in 2025 for family travelers looking to hit the open road. Whether it’s a weekend trip or a two-week expedition, my goal is to inspire your trips. I’ll also help you with essential road trip advice, and maybe discover some new places along the way. And hey, if you ever get lost, just remember: all roads lead to adventure… or at least to the next gas station with snacks!

I know that planning the perfect trip can often feel like trying to solve a Rubik’s Cube blindfolded, but I’m here to make it easier. If I can figure out how to keep a car full of kids entertained for hours on end, then trust me, you can too! From packing tips to route suggestions, Road Trip Tales has got you covered.

My Journey and Inspiration

I’ve lived in New England, California, and now Florida—proving I can handle both snowstorms and sunshine! When I’m not road tripping with my family, you can find me working as an IT analyst. Before that, I was an intensive care nurse and a travel nurse, which might explain why I think navigating traffic is a breeze compared to a hospital shift. We travel 2,000 to 3,000 miles each summer and enjoy smaller trips throughout the year. My goal? To make road tripping easier and more fun for everyone—because who doesn’t love a good roadside attraction?
